Help ! Spoon calipers
Hello guys,
I'm new here...hope it's the right place to post the topic..
Recently i've bought a set of spoon 4pot calipers that come with project mu rotor and brake pad. (used)
After i had installed it, whenever the car moves, the brake pads make noises. Seems like the pad is scratching the rotor....even i'm not touching any brake pedal. It's the brake pad which moves around inside the calipers.....
Now i wonder if spoon calipers do come with brake pad clips to hold the pads or there's something wrong with the calipers ?
My mechanic told me i can still use it....but worried the rotor might be uneven in times to come....
Any solutions ?
My car is Accord CF4 SIR (JDM)
Thanks in advance....

your gonna have to find some kind of clips to keep the pads from moving. check with spoon if they make some. Is it possible to take pics at diffrent angels of the caliper and rotor?
Wrong pads ? Hmm....
The previous owner was using it on same type of car....yet he got no problem with it !
So if spoon doesn't make any kind of retainer for the pads, the brake pads should be really fit on the calipers without anything to holding it !?

might sound like a dumb response but did you put it in correctly? also do you have old brake fluid possibly? and it not putting enough pressure to the brakeS?
try putting some anti-squeak compound on the back of the pads. if that doesnt help then i dont know. but keep in mind performance pads do make more noise then regular pads.

i was gonna ask if you reset the pistons prior to putting them on, but i doubt that has anything to do with it..but maybe, try disassembling and resetting and then reassembling.
