A/C blasting in the summer (even at night because it's humid) around town city driving I usually get 320-350 miles on a tank, even with using a little VTEC here and there.
As far as MPG, my recent best was 38 mpg on a highway trip, and that was also with A/C on the whole time. I have gone over 400 miles on a tank a couple of times in recent months. I'm sure I can get 450 miles to a tank if it's straight highway driving, but I'll find out next month when we drive to Chicago for our honeymoon.

so am i getting high gas mileage? do i need tune up because i put $20 each time i go to gas station $2.99/ gallon so it equals to 6.70 gallons (for $20) and i only get 165-170 mpg... (normal driving on my LS) no redlining, racing, hard driving etc. just daily driver

i put the a/c on #3 or #2 that's it... maybe even #1 if its not that hot.... so im gettin low mileage?? that bad!! what do i do i recently change my oil that's it..though
26-29ish is what i get for some mixed city-highway with no a/c.. mine doesnt work and its pissing me off. i think your mileage is fine but if your super worried about it you could do a 400$ tuneup, with spark plugs, fuel filter, o2 sensor, spark plug wires. the list goes on and i dont know the rest of it. but recently theres been alot of talk about the o2 sensor.
I get 35mpg in my gsr with the AC on when driving on the freeways or over 40MPH. If I'm in stop and go or slow traffic I turn the AC off and open the windows. Driving 40mph+ with the windows open waste more gas than driving with the AC on.
I must note though that I stay out of vtec most of time... because gas prices are still to high for me to be wasting gas.

fan speed has no effect on gas mileage. You're still running the A/C compressor no matter what the fan speed is on, and the fan speed is just an electric motor under the dash.
I saw a big jump in MPG when I replaced my 02 sensor. I went from 32-33 on the highway to 36-38.
See my other thread about that https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1958333

it all depends on how you drive! if your mashing the gas all the time well of course you can expect to get low gas mileage, but if your moderate shifting around 3-4k and taking it easy of course your going to see a huge difference. you also got to keep up with maintenance! i remember some dude was asking me why in the hell am i getting horrible gas mileage and its smoking constantly. turns out he had no oil. the 02 sensor was bad and just a horrible situation. so it all depends on how you treat your baby. if you baby her, she'll baby you.
p.s.
i found out that lucas oil stabilizer and fuel system cleaner really helps! i put it on every time i fill up!!!

You should not use fuel system cleaner that often. Not only does it get expensive but it will also foul the spark plugs.
I like to run a bottle of injector cleaner before every oil change, every 3Kmiles or so. Every 4th oil change I substitute fuel system cleaner. I also change my spark plugs around every 4th oil change or so (12K miles) since they're NGK copper plugs, and O'Reiley's has them for only $6.xx for a set of 4. Been doing this for over 160K miles now.

those old EPA estimations are crap. Mine has always gotten better MPG than what the window sticker said. But it's never been as good as it has been now that I replaced the old original O2 sensor, which had like 240K miles on it.
First of all, what matters is miles per gallon. You people who say you get XXX miles per tank aren't providing any useful information, because some people fill their tank with 8 gallons, others fill it with 12, still others don't always fill it with the same amount.
What you need to do is take the number of miles you drive on a tank (starting from when it's full), and divide by the number of gallons you fill it with after driving a while. Even better is to use the totals of miles and gallons over several tanks of gas.
On the '94 GS-R (bone stock with 166K miles), we get 24-26 miles per gallon in mixed city and highway driving. On a long trip we get 29-33 mpg.
Air conditioning doesn't make all that much difference, maybe 1 mpg, maybe not even that. And remember, you get better gas mileage using the air conditioning with the windows closed, than you do with the A/C off and the windows open (due to increased drag).

Just curious - how many decimal points do you measure by, when you DON'T use the word "approximately"?
j/k...
That number is consistent with our GS-R.

i fill m 13 gallon tank usually with about 12 gallons and get between 340-380 per tank using A/C during these summer months, i rarely drive it hard but combine highway and city driving so, im not sure what help that provides... last tank i got 31.5 mpg doing highway and city driving with A/C on full time, usually three or four (i have a dog that will die otherwise), not to worried though
