hi guy i blew my old block and i wanted to know what is need for me to install my new block, such as parts. I already have the new block and i'm using my old head. What other parts do i need for the motor, one thing i do know is i have to get a new head gasket but what else, thanks you.....

I would suggest you take the head, crank, connecting rods, and pistons, to the machine shop to have them all checked and balanced. then get new main and rod bearings. you should probably replace the oil and compression rings. you could do more but it depends on your budget and what the motor is being built to handle.

 

whatever on post above + New Head Bolts, water pump, oil pump, new timing/balancer belts
