I have a 1996 honda accord V6 and i was wondering if it is possible to do an engine swap on this model.

 

in the faq's link theirs swap availabe for your car, i think the cls v6 not sure though, but check it out its under the swaps section

yes you can swap the engine, but what engine are you thinking of putting in and what is your budget?

 

Well is was thinking of putting a F20 or a H22. WHat would u recommend?

 

Better off getting a 4 cyl then and selling your v6

the engine bays are completely opposite of each other

 

THey are different engine bays? I thought it would be the same?

 

The bays are different in the sense that one is longer. The Mugen accord is a v6 chassis with an H22 power plant. Would be nice to see a J series motor under the hood of a 5th gen v6.
