ac prob

2002 honda civic ex....wen ac is on the car is jerky, like im tapping the gas, n the ac output stutters. both come n go n occur only wen ac is on n stop immediately wen ac is turnd off...ne ideas? dad can fix nething if we kno wuts wrong so offer any advice if u kno wuts up ty
