OBD II in a 4th gen?
The local dealer where I ordered my JDM H22A from just called and said that the engine he was going to sell me doesn't work. He has no other JDM H22A's right now except for an OBD II (I believe '96-up?). I prefer to go through him since he's local and I don't have to pay for shipping.
Would it be worth it to swap an OBD II engine in my 4th gen? Would an OBD II engine also bolt right up to my H23A tranny? I have a '94 'lude.

How do you change an OBD II motor to OBD I? Is it just the ECU?

From what I remember when I did my swap (H22a4 into my 95 Lude), you need an OBDI distributor, OBDI P13 ecu, and OBDI H22 injectors.
There will be one sensor on your new block down by the oil pump, it's the crank position sensor. You don't need to hook it up since it's in the OBDI distributor. Just tie it out of the way.
Everything else should be a direct drop in.

I actually used the obd2 injectors, but the hatch didnt have the resistor box, but other then that, I think you covered the major stuff
