no im almost 100% sure you do not need the support. everything should be a replacement. you need hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, and a new grill. but i have in my head that the fitment is just alittle sketchy but it works you just haveta play with it. but it should not be that hard.

but if you have a 2000 radiator support or are able to put one on i say do it i think it will fit alittle better with a 2000 radiator support.

with out the support the bumper does not sit flush with the rest of your car. My friend did not buy the support and his bumper sticks in

you can cut it, for perfect fitment.

if you don't then your hood will stick out, and there will be gaps everywhere.

i didnt use one, and my grille sticks out on the passnger side just a little bit, not noticable unless ur up close. U dont need one, but it will make fitmant way better.

is it troublesome to put a new rad support in? will it weaken the structural rigidity?

also, if you get the rad support, will the fitment look like a 99-00 from the factory (obviously with good alignment)?

i did not change my rad support and the fitment is like stock, but im going to guess it will weaken the structural integrity if you do not properly weld it on right unless you have a professional who knows what he is doing. just my 2 cents.
