CD Accord Driver Side Fan
I think I've narrowed it down to the driver side fan not turning on / kicking in as my overheating/AC problem.
I understand there is a relay attached to the fan as well as a sensor?
I don't have my Helms with me here at work but it just literally started to over heat.
AC turned on = passenger fan running
Starting to heat up = passenger fan running
no driver side fan at all.
What should I be checking and what location? Should I just follow the wires once everything cools down and short it to see if the sensor is bad or if the fan is broken?

As an update, I determined my problem was a faulty fan motor.
I went to Advanced Auto to get a replacement motor and the "oem replacement" doesn't fit at all haha.
I'm just going to go aftermarket

would you mind explaining how you came to figure out it was a faulty fan motor? Just for someone who reads this and is having similar problems, that way they have some idea as too what they should check.
NP Touring
Started off doing some research regarding it.
I had seen people talk about a sensor and relay and what not but I figured the other fan was working fine so I played with just the driver side fan.
Symptoms:
- Car Overheating while Idle w/ AC on
Things to Check:
- No loose connections obviously
- Thermostat sensor doohicky (not sure where lol)
- Coolant
- Both fans are operational (at some point in the day)
I first checked all the connections to and from the fan (nothing loose from when I was down in there earlier) and everything checked fine.
So from the research someone had suggested applying voltage straight from the battery to the fan, this will rule out as to whether the fan is dead (my case) or if it's something else (cabling/sensors/etc).
Just unplug the fan and stick whatever wire you have from the battery to it (I used some cheap speaker wire) *edit* black to black , colored to colored
If it doesn't spin up, the fan motor is the culprit
