You need a big flat head screwdriver, and a hammer, and you need to jack up the front end of the car really high. Place the end of the screwdriver on the inner CV joint, and bang on it with the hammer until it comes loose.
Unfortunately you can't really get a good angle on the joint with the screwdriver, but the higher the front end of the car is the better.

just take something like a flathead and gently tap in a circular motion and it will slowly start sliding out. once it gets to a certain point you can just pull it right off. its a lot easier if you have a vice clamp to hold it in place while you tap it.
yes the axle is off the hub. im trying to separate the axle from the intermediate shaft.,
i was thinking of using a pickle fork thats wide enough to fit but i couldnt find one.

same. depending on how old the axles are it could require a decent amount of effort. but it'll go eventually.

Did you buy the OTC 7509 CV Joint Inner Puller?:

One trick I found was to use the suspension fork. In the process of removing the axle from the hub, you normally remove the fork from the shock/strut. The ends on this fork are just the right size to slip between the axle's CV housing and the intermediate shaft and separate it. Just turn it upside-down, stick it between the two (it won't quite fit), then hit it with a mallet to force it in. This will push the axle out.
aight i got it out. i slipped in a breaker bar in between and hammer the hell out of it. and the cv shaft tool i got didnt fit, its too wide. thanks for the help!
