Default diffrences in 96-00 civic front lower control arms

Hey guys I've been doing the searching thing, but since i cannot search for 2 letter words like SI. It has been hard I am lloking to figure out how many diffrent front lower control arms there are for the 96-00 civic my understanding is there is

Dx front lower which have no provision for a sway bar
Ex front lowers which which are the same as dx but have holes for front sway bars
SI style which is a diffrent shape and has attachment hole for a si style sway bar

my questions are any of these lighter than any of the others?

Do any of them change the geometry of the suspension(such as camber, caster)?

Are there any others I am forgetting?

And our there any diffrent rear lower control arms between the the diffrent civics?

Your help would be appreciated.

do a search on ebay for the diff. front lower control arms and you'll find some answers there.

the different weight isn't enough to matter.

the si lca's are harder to get the balljoint loose

they all have the same shape, you can mount any of the sway bars to any of the ex or si arms.

dx,lx arms have no whole for the sway but you can drill one in there.

the ex arms are the same as the dx, lx arms but have the whole for the 22mm sway.

the si arms are stamped steel and are much lighter than the cast iron peices + they have a difrent mounting point for the si's 26mm sway bar.

you can mount the si sway to the ex control arm using acura integra gsr front endlinks if you would like.

doesn't really matter in this case but just wanted to point out that they are forged steel not cast iron. theres a pretty big difference when it comes to suspension components

Because they dont make front lower control arms; only upper control arms/ rear lower control arms. Big difference

Is the si front sway bigger than my lx 4dr front sway? Yes there is a sway bar and it's all stock. I have a chance to get a front si bar if it will work.

Will my stock one fit on my wife's 94? Mine is a 97. I'm buying the full brake setup off a buddy's si with the sways and all.

I figured pulling up an old *** thread would prove that I searched.

Yes you can but you'll need to run ITR end links and potentially mount the bar so the ends are under the LCA instead of above the LCA.

Front sway bars in the Honda Civic VI generation EJ/EK (1996-2000) were available in two diameters - 22 mm and 26 mm and can be installed interchangeably.

And I would want to learn why one would want a larger front sway bar given that this generation is nose heavy and understeering prone.

The difference in weight between a 22m and 26mm diameter front sway bar is small, and the improvement in suspension properties is noticeable.
