IDLING LOW!!! HELP!!!!
i have a 92 eg hatch and i recently did a mini meeh swap to it, using a obd2 d16y8 head. now the car throws out cel codes but that is being taken care of. my problem is that it idles low and loops over and over, some times idles low then dies. i'm assuming i have a vacume leak, but i know when my friend and i put the head on he didnt do the timing on it so would that be a possible reason why my motor idles low n some times loops. any info resloving my low idle problem would help much....THANKS
wat codes are you throwing sounds like IAC idle air control to me
check to see if the wires r connnected to the plug and everything is good if you are throwing the iac code mite b time for a new sensor

the intake temp sensor isnt' hooked up its just hanging in my engine bay....planning on getting an aftermarket intake and drilling a hole for the IAC sensor to work....is that really all the problem there....i might as well just punch a hole in my stock intake and just shove it in there for now lol.
Put your hand over the throttle body while the engine is running, if it dies you don't have a vaccuum leak, if it doesn't you do. Did you make sure to set the timing dead on? I know that on some mini me's you have to use a Y7 cam timing gear to get the timing right.
