Skunk 2 TB Bad?
Hey my friend just installed a skunk2 TB on his y8 motor **** is that it has no IACV, what gives? His car idles like ****! is that the reason why!!? is there anyway of bypassing or should he take off the junk2 TB
I wasn't even aware that skunk2 was making a throttle body for the d-series. Yeah, not running an IACV will generally give the car a bad idle, considering it regulates the cars idle.

The throttle body has no Fast Idle Valve the intake manifold is where the IACV is....did you try adjusting the idle yet? with the cable and the idle screw. make sure there are no leaks, hondabond the gasket surface if you must.

B,D,H series throttle bodies are the same as far as bolting up to the manifolds they differ in sizes...save of course for the early b20 throttle bodies for preludes, these are essentially different. so yes they do make a TB for a d-series they also make a d-series intake manifold (skunk 2 pro series) which is as far as i know identical to the ITR manifold just for a d-series.
