Default How to aim headlights?

Hello, I feel like an idiot but I can't figure out how to aim the headlights in my '07 Civic EX. I installed Silverstar Ultra bulbs in the low beams and now the driver's side shoots way up like a high beam and aggravates everyone else on the road.

Thanks for any help!

~Matt

If the stock bulbs didn't do that then your new ones are probably not sitting in correctly.

There are 2 adjustment screws. Pop your hood and look down directly above your headlight.

I installed new bulbs and never had a problem with aiming. I would say they're not sitting correctly too.

I thought something was wrong in that putting in new bulbs would misalign them; I've never had that happen before in any of my other cars. I will check that first.

Is it a coupe of a sedan? You'll need a 8mm wrench. It's a little bolt between the low beams and the high beams IIRC

It's weird because for my 06 SI, I needed a 8mm, but for my friend's 07 EX sedan, she needed a 10mm

these questions just make me wonder if people have ever owned a car before. having replaced his bulbs he had to have atleast looked at the setup to see how they are adjusted. i mean you guys get pissed when I say stuff like this but without the internet some people would be completely s.o.l.

He might not have noticed the adjustments.....not everyone has taken out there headlights to put in new bulbs.

As for a 8mm or 10mm wrench..... its made to use a screw driver. You put it down the hole and turn, it turns the little bolt and moves the beam up or down.
