Default 10# spool vs 1# spool, weld wire?

i ran out of wire last night and today a got a 10# spool from Lowes.

I notice that the hole in the spool for the 10# is 2", versus a 5/8 of the 1# spool @ arbor. Is there a spool adapter?? I've got a lincoln weld-pak. I rigged something up to make it work, but I was wondering if there was something special I should used (or maybe I shouldn't use a 10# spool in that machine)???

Thanks.

There usually is an adapter for the bigger spools.
