just curious...

and i know the head is not a VTEC head


If it will work... what HG can I use?

Same bottom ends.

Best if you do it other way around tho
Y8 head to y7 bottom.

well what happend is a customer sent out a y7 block to golden eagle to get o-ringed and sleeved and they sent us a Y8 block back... and the customer already had a y7 head built and ready to go. so we just want to make sure to let him know and make sure nothing happens that shouldnt

Y7 and Y8 motors have the same bottom ends, to the best of my knowledge. Same applies for D15b7 and D15b8 motors, same exact bottom end, just different heads.
