Default what to do

well i have come to a little dilemma when switching turbos, my question is can i just drill and tap a new port in my turbo.....if not what should i do??
this is my old one where the wastegate vacuum was attached

You can take the wastegate signal from any location that sees boost. Some manufacturers also recommend that the boost source be before the throttle body so the wastegate doesn't see vacuum, since it is possible for diaphram damage to occur if it does. However, many people plumb the wastegate signal from the intake manifold without issues.

Shove a rag in it put the turbo on the bench and outlet on the bench drill it tapp it then pull the rag out
