Upholstery Issues
So thanks to this oppressive heat we've been getting, the cans of pop that I had sitting on the backseat of my car have exploded. I've tried every trick that I know of for getting rid of the stain with no luck yet. Any suggestions?
Also, I let one of the guys from work borrow my car and the bastard smoked in it while he was on the highway and he didn't realize it but a butt didn't make it out of the window and put a burn in my backseat as well. Anybody have any decent cover up/repair type suggestions for that? Oh, and moneys not a huge issue as he'll be paying for it.

Rent a house steam carpet cleaning unit, and get the upholstry cleaning kit. Use a good grade "wet" upholstry cleaner, wet and scrub the areas with a stiff brush. While still damp, run the steam cleaner over the areas. When you rent the machine look for a solution (from the machine-maker) specifically for upholstry, especially with "spot-removal".
Once a year I rent a unit and clean the carpets in the house, then back the cars up in the driveway (after vacuuming) and clean the carpets/upholstry with the unit (different "soaps" house/cars). Car detailers often charge $75 per car to do this- the machine is as good as theirs, and I get the three cars clean for free.
The burn? Maybe SOL. Check an upholstry shop and see if they can cut/patch the area, doubtful they can get the OEM fabric. A good cover? Expensive, but the seat could be entirely replaced with an OEM unit. Wrenchy
