Default What slicks and axles?

I have a 97 Type R and I need to get some slicks and axles for it and I just wanted some opinions on what to get.
Setup:
Fully built motor
Full Race Turbo kit t3/t67
running 14psi now but will be running 25psi soon

Thanks

you can spend a good bit of $ now, or you can spend a little now(and a little later after something eventually breaks)

imo, DSS 5.9's

(stock will hold up somewhat decent, if you are easy on the car)

dss 3.9's or do it once and get the 5.9's. pm miller or bigtom. they had the best prices on them, thats where i got mine, ninesecrx (mike laskey) should have em too..

as for slicks, that depends on where the power is, but imma go out on a limb and say either 24.5 x 8.5 x 13 or the 25 x 8.7 x 13 m and h.

there is a way to make gsr brakes work with a USDM ITR. i couldnt make it work with a jdm 5 lug, thats why i am 4 lug front 5 lug rear, BUT i did go 10.72 with 24.5 x 8.5 x 15 slicks.

As for slicks- 24.5x9.0-13 MT if you can fit them over your brakes if not then you will have to go with 15's.

yep, 15's it is, big brakes ftl.

If you are serious about racing, I would try and switch over to 4lug/gsr knuckles in the front, Lack of sidewall on the 15s with 24.5s is weak.

that works for some people. but in my world, i am not part of that minority.
even rado bitched at me about using non stock axles. i look at it the way above. maintenance between rounds is ok. fixing stuff sux.
