Default 94-95 JDM B18C: which oil to use?

I would think to use synthetic 5w-30, but just to make sure, I figured I'd ask.

Synthetic, or non synthetic?
5w-30, or sommething else?

Also for tranny fluid, is there a special type of GM synchromesh tranny fluid? OR just a generic kind, and how much should I use? (Y80 tranny w/ OEM LSD).

Any quality conventional or synthetic 5W-30 will be fine.

For the transmission fluid, I'd first pick up some Honda MTF. The latest formulation has been shown to work extremely well.
