Default JDM CITY LIGHTS WIRING

Just wonder how to wire up the city ligths(5G civic). Do they come on with the ignition on or with the parking lights on? Like to wire them the OEM way,not this way or that way! thanks!

They come on with the parking lights, and stay on. They replace the corner lights.

On a real JDM car, the corner lights only come on when signaling, and the city lights remain on as parking lights.

To wire them up this way, remove the 12v parking illumination wire from your corner lights, use it as your hot wire for your city lights, and tap the ground wire into the ground on the corner lights.

City lights light the headlight reflector and replace the function of constantly illuminated corner lights that we have in America. They're called city lights because they are generally used in the city as a form of forward indication when headlights are not needed for visibility.

Here's my car when I used to have them. When I get some new headlights that support them, I'll probably wire my corners properly (IE, the "JDM" way).

Thank you very much for the input. Started some the wiring today, and noticed what you said about the parking lights only coming on when turning I 'll just wire them up the JDM way, since i have a ll the connectors and such.
