Default SO-2

Whats the real size of this tire on the rear? i know its says 225 but isnt it more like 245? just want to make sure.

I need some new tires and i cant find a 245 or up tire for my 16' rears even on tire rack. i was looking to run either 245 or 255 on my stock rears. but all the tires i have seen only go up to 225 size as the highest size for the rear 16'

Any help?
Thanks

yeah the oem so-2 is more like a 245.

If you buy another brand of tire you need a 245/45/16, then a 225/50/16 for the front for proper fitment.

Yep the 225/5016 front 245/45/16 rear sizes are pretty nice. I use that and my stock wheels as a track set up.

The S02 isnt available in the 245/45 size. I ended up with Hankook RS2 Z212. They are one of the few in that size.

Go to discount tire direct.com or tire rack.com and check out the RE01-R. From what I can see, those tires are the *****. They also are only available in stock sizes, but the grip seems insane. They are, however, only available in a V speed rating in the stock S2000 sizes. Whatever. Just dont go over 150mph lol.
