Default remounted catch pan

Here are some pics of my catch pan after remounting it. Now it is mounted to the engine instead of the chassis and it has 3.75" clearance at race level with 6 psi in the tires. The rear is now mounted to a flange on the downpipe to seal it.

I feel much better about it with bolts. It cames off very quick anyway. Besides, I had bolts lying around and they were free.

Looks good! How much did you have to notch the back for the downpipe? I know i have room to play with mine coming up, but its already notched about an inch for the downpipe. Have any pics off the car?

Much better!

I like bolts better than Dzus fasteners on these, they hold it much tighter.

Yeah man. I had the lift when I closed my shop. The lift was paid for, so I built a garage to accomodate all of my stuff from the shop.

It is notched the whole 2". I welded a flange to the downpipe to mount it to so it is sealed. Here is a pic before I remounted it. The notch and mounts are the only thing different now.

It is just a 1/8" thick flange to mount it to. I did not take any pics of it.

That's just a added lip to catch anything from the oil pan. Thanks!
