96 acorrd lx bad fuel pump?
I've been having issues over a couple of months, where if my gas is at a 1/4 tank or below, while driving, then coming to a stop for a light, sign, etc, the car shut-offs, and i have to start it up again. When my gas is more than a 1/4 tank, the issue doesn't happen.
Now this morning, i start up my car, i can hear it crank normally, starter is fine, but it doesn't want to start, i've checked my battery, spark plugs, everything is fine.
could it be the fuel pump and what are the symptoms of a bad fuel pump?
btw car is a, 96 accord lx

If you cut the key to the acc postition then you should hear the fuel pump cut on , Check the fuse for it , Take off the fuel line to the rail and cut the key to the acc postition and you will see if your not getting any fuel . Keep a bucket handy to catch the fuel . I would try that , and also a pressure guage tells alot also . Pumps that work that have some age. Might not flow as much as it did new.
CHeck the fuse
Listen to see if the pump is cutting on
Check for fuel
