i have a 2" rpm tach i need help wired up. it has black red blue and white wire. need to know where they go. thanks

 

what brand is it ? did it come with instructions?
blk= gnd
red= 12v
wht=lights
blu= tach
this is just a edjumakated guess though.

 

it is a sunpro tach. no i dont have instructions, i got it from a buddy. where do all the wires get wired to?

blk= gnd, pretty simple, any ground. red= 12v, i used the poewr off my ignition switch(get a tester)whatever wire lights up when you switch the key. wht=lights dash lights, i used the one in the fuze box, blu= tach, I connected it to the one and only solid blue wire comin from the dizzy, or they say you can use the blue wire runnin in front of the fire wall before the shock tower(where your front shock is connected) theres a blue wire that leads to nothin. you can also try that.
