Default cold air intake in ohio winters

any ill effects running a CAI in the winter?

Do any of the CAI (injen, fujita, aem, etc) convert to a short ram intake?

I have a 2006 Honda Acccord V6 6speed sedan

as long as u dont go thru any ginormous puddles, you should be fine.

most, if not all, aem units have a break in the middle for either a bypass breather/short ram conversion.

You will be fine as long as you keep your splash guard on.

take another look at that one... i believe that is one piece. if that is the case, and u want a bypass, you could cut the pipe in half.

You should be fine like these guys said. I go to school in Muncie IN and we had a pretty bad snow this past winter and I was just fine. I dont have a by pass valve either.

i never had a problem with my cai in PA winters, you jsut have to be careful when the snow melts and the roads flood thats all. im not running a splash guard or bypass valve thing that aem has...
