My boy ran a 15.4 with a Zc and i/h/e in a full interior CRX Si, but he's a damn good driver. You should have about 180-185 horses at the flywheel, which means you should be deep in the the 14s, probably 13s. Maybe it has something to do with you suspension, or a lack of practice?

I think you should be running a good bit faster through the 1/4 than that? What were your 60' times and trap speed?

Are you sure your kit is spraying correctly? The times look normal except for the bad RT, which doesn't affect ETs anyway, and an abnormally high trap speed. Are you at wide open throttle the entire run? That 60 time seems a little low to me but I could be wrong???

When I had a ZC in my hatch I ran a 14.6 spraying 70 with a NOS kit. With a bit of a spinning problem. Sounds like your ET should be a little better. What RPM are you shifting at?? Maybe before you go next time you can practice your launch a for a better R/T and possibly less spin for a better E/T. I know my first few times to the track, I paniced and launched at 4000+ RPM and dumped the clutch which made the car spin like crazy.

Good luck

Chris

This 60' times need a bit of help.Try launching somewhere more moderate where the car doesnt just sit there and spin.2.5 60's usually feel like the front end is floating for a bit. Those traps are on the low side for a zc with nitrous.I'd reccomend going through the system and making sure everything is all good. Also do a comparison with it all motor. My 89 CRX Si ran 15.2's all day with a homemade intake and an es muffler.Very near stock and burning oil.I was getting 2.31 60's and trap speeds around 88 mph. That was on dunlop w-10's.I just ran my 86 CRX Si beater(200 dollar car) at the track a couple weeks ago.Its running 16.2's all day with a homemade intake and ground control coilovers on the back.My trap speeds were like 82's.My 60's on this car are very high 2.3's.Try taking air out of your tires and just practice alot.Good luck!

Mikey

what transmission did you run w/the zc. maybe try working on the power shifting.

mine are:

R/T-.924

I1-2.360
I2-6.510
I3-10.050
I4-13.083

E.T-15.625
MPH-88.692

with some serious power shifting on a si transmission. was my frist time at the track i just dumped the clutch at 1200rpm haha. the car bogged badly.

oh and a 89integra ecu.

You need practice. There could be motor problems too though I suppose.

I'm no mario andretti, but my first pass in my 91 Si with ZC yeilded a 15.6. The rest of the day I nailed 15.3s and 15.2s. This was with an I/E and nothing else. Since then I added the header which really didn't help. My average from all of the various tracks I go to is a 15.5.

You really need to launch better. A really bad 60' time would be a 2.4, you're way above that. With street tires, I'd recommend leaving at about 2400 and riding the clutch out, not dropping it. If you were running slicks, I'd go with the mista bone method (see above) which seems to work great.

Give us more info on what you're running. What trans? What ECU? If you're using a ZC trans, that's going to hurt you a little. Use the integra ECU if you aren't already.

Anyway, good luck!

I forgot about the trans and ECU issue...running a Si ECU and DX trans could really screw up those times.

I kind of amazed that this question didn't get asked...

What's your elevation at the track? If it's high, then those times seem about right.

My freinds Volkswagon 2.0 has a lump stick, short shifter, I/H/E, chipped, striped interior and at 5000 ft here in Denver, He can't get better then an 18. He is also a very good driver, and has over 50 passes on the car.

Weren't you going to break in your clutch? Man, if you didnt' do that yet, you could have screwed up your clutch. Oh well, the Si ECU has got to go. Yeah, I would have to say that your times are horribly slow. I was running 15.9 with my old Si 1.6sohc with I/H/E and nothing else. Yes, your times are slow. Something isn't right. I hope you figuer it out. Most liekely your ECU isn't supplying enough fuel.

hmmm see this is the prob I bought the car with the motor swap done, so I dont know what kinda tranny I have or what kinda ECU I have! The car feels alot faster than 17 without the Nitrous, I have a tach and a air/fuel guage and the air/fuel seems to be fine!...... I also have a adjustable fuel pressure regulator should I up the fuel pressure. one reason I hanvt upped the fuel pressure Is becasue I seems to be ok on the air/fuel ration guage. thanks for all the help I must find out what the deal is.
