Why are you freaking out because your motor wont start. If you "built" it from the ground up shouldnt you have noticed anything odd during that. And two why should they warranty a motor someone built. How do they know good old bob didnt forget to check his clearances on his high compression motor. Why should they be responsible for that. And even if you did build it right, its probably something stupid in the ignition system or fuel area.

 

i've heard bad things about them too. i have a friend down in miami. i came up to my neck of the woods and was dissapointed in the crappy work they performed on my friends civic.

i would stay away from them too.

 

why exactly doesnt it start? and did u get a compression test done b4 they sold u the motor?

 

I don't understand how it would take you 6 months to build up a motor. Did you buy the motor first, just to have it sit there while you were waiting on parts?

Why is your timing off? Did you "build" up an engine just to try and start it without setting and then double checking the timing?

Maybe you're the one that screwed up the engine when you were "building" it. I mean, it did take you half a year to finally finish it.

next time u buy a motor have them do a compresstion test on the motor so u dnt end up in this situation. u shuld be more prepared and aware b4 u decide to spend that much money on sumthng

 

The 30 day start up warranty means you do the swap as is and if it doesn't start because of a mechanical problem they will replace. That's how I did it. Then I started moding the motor. But I also got mine from http://www.hmotorsonline.com which came with 30 day start up warranty.

no, i talked to the dude there and he said its only 30 days after the purchase date.

i really hope this helps someone out
