Where can I get a turbo kit that keeps the catalytic converter?
It sucks that the TSI extreme turbo (http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...505/index.html) and the D17 S1 turbo kit (http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motorsports_version.cfm) make an '01 LX lose it's catalytic converter
. I'm hoping there's one turbo kit that's cat-friendly.

why do you want a cat if you are boosting?

Quick question on passing emissions in VA, I did a search for emissions but nothing came up that helps.
I curently dont have any emissions here in Co but when i move back to Va i need to be able to pass. I am curently doing a full header back exaust system on my lx (Megan Racing Header, Megan Racing Midpipe, with a Tanabe medallion Concept G cat back) i was wondering if there is any way for me to pass emissions in va with this set up. i have an o2 sensor bung to get rid of the code that gets thrown but was wondering how they checked emissions in va.
I went to there website to check and was very complicated. I know they do a muffler test and the ecu check but what exatly are they looking for? do i have a hope in hell of passing?
Thank you all for time.

No chance on passing anywhere with that setup. If you replaced the midpipe with a high flow cat, and ran some denatured alcohol for the e-test, you may be able to pass. With no cat, there is no way you will ever pass. It would be way easier to find a shady shop and slip the guy a couple hundred to pass your car, however that is not legal. But neither is removing your cat in a place where there are emissions laws.
