whats everyones opinion on ctr pistons in a gsr motor with grower stg. 2 cams with springs and retainers... should i get a slightly thicker head gasket or leave it stock .30 ? also would i be able to use pump gas? 93 oct.?

 

Dont want to Beat a dead horse here but i have a similar question.... diddnt feel like wasting up valuable forum space... how about CTR pistons on a mostly stock gsr(injectors and basic bolt ons) will it work? can i just drop them in or do i need to get anything special?

 

you probably need bigger injectors and def fuel managment or a crome tune, hondata, or some chip no vafc , full standalone only, 12.5-1 is dangerous, go itr pistons for 11.5-1 and a 13 sec setup

ive had that exact same setup. its pretty trendy actually. skunk2 stage 2, ctr pistons in a gsr block. your good for 190whp. its really reliable too if you have it tuned and stay away from ebay.
