traction bar questions?

traction bar questions?
if the 94 del sol has close to the same chassis as the 93 civic, why dont by traction bars fit?
i had a 94 civic and installed these traction bars that came off a hatch. they worked great in my coupe. i searched any everyone said they would work fine in a 94 del sol. well now that i sold my civic and bought a del sol, i went to mount my traction bars on the del so and they dont fit. that are about 1" too short.

did you ever figure this problem out? i was going to order some traction bars soon and don't want to run into this problem...
