forgetting your opinions of monroe...
monroe makes a complete struts numbers 171946 (left front) 171945 (right front) and 171266 (both rears). They state that these fit a 94 civic. (all models lx,dx,vx..) BUT Not The Del Sol
their std strut numbers are 71945 71946 & 71266 respectively which monroe claims DO Fit the 94 Del Sol AND the civic . their premium line 801245, 801246 & 801266 monroe also claims fit the civic & del sol.
does anyone know, or have they installed the complete monroe assembly on their del sol. Summit racing claims they will fit the del sol. but i called monroe and they said NO. but i only got a monkey who looked in the catalog!
I'm assuming the complete assembly includes the 71945 strut, thus the bottom mount should be ok, but it is possible the top mount does not match, or the spring is wider, longer or stiffer. I gather there is a weight difference between the del sol & the civic. any help would be appriciated

it'll fit. suspension wise, if it fits a 92-95 civic, it'll fit a del sol.
