Default Random loss of power?

I backed out of my driveway today, put the car in 1st gear, went to give it gas and it wouldnt rev. So I made sure I was in 1st gear and not 3rd, gave it gas again and it died. So I try to start it up again and it cranked about 12 times, before it finally started and ran perfect after that. I'm not really worrying about since the cars running fine, but has this ever happened to anyone. Is this the beginning of a problem?

for a second i was thinking a slipping clutch if you couldn't rev. but then it started. that i don't know. now the not starting issue. is this when the car has been run for awhile, you cut it off and then try to start it up again with-in a minute or two.

Did it for the second time today. The car was still warm, but hadn't been running for a good hour. Again it took like 10 cranks to start. Then I try it again, do it exactly the same, I can't make it do it.

Well your starter works. Are you getting sparks? Check your spark plug condition. How are you wires? Check the wire resistance?

I agree: <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by The-Kid &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Well your starter works.
