I need some advice.. my tranny whines when i idle. but when i put the clutch in it stops. might it be the throw out baring? if so would it be smart just to replace the whole clutch?

Yes, that would be the throwout bearing. It can be changed separately if you don't need to change the clutch out. Should run about $50 or so from Honda.

If you know what it is, it takes just as much effort for you to post the information here as it does for you to flame the original poster.

 

i was just making sure it was that parts whats wrong. just want to see if people had the same problem.

i did that & found more than a couple threads
listing the same symptoms hes having

& listing exactly what bearing it is

hondatech isnt here to babysit

My problem is working 6 days a week, I'll have two trannys going to Hoplland, MI soon. With work I can't road dawg like it used to.
