I just moved here to Beaufort a few weeks ago. What is the scene like out here? Any regular non-rice meets?

 

was just down there last month...nice area...but dont know the car scene...

 

sometimes me and some freinds go to the nearest city which is savannah its a decent scence there

 

I used to live in Beaufort, my pops was a Marine and we would go to Savannah to the drag strip or to lady's island to the drags. My buddy used to have a shop there called Truboost but I think he sold it.

 

What about me foolz! Haha.

Nice, you are at Iwakuni now or Oki? I used to live in Oki back in the day. I'm up here at Misawa right now. Did you used to live in Beaufort?

 

Yea im deployed temporarily. I jump between oki and iwakuni every other month. I was stationed at the air station in beaufort for 3 years.

 

theres really no scene in beaufort, a couple people usually just meet up at sonics, by best buy, around 830ish almost every friday. yes the clean cars in beaufort, well i think so.

other than that you can go to sav sat. nights at spivas or something like that, closer to the new sav mall, not olgothorpe.

and the track in sav is closed. and the "TRACK" on ladys island yea thats not really a track.

and truboost was never tru, and there closed, he ran not sold.

 

Only thing i saw in beaufort was back yard project R us.

 

yup back yard projects b/c theres absolutely nothing else to do except driving around seeing yellow coupe on slips drving around. lol

but friday nights at sonics is the place to find out if anything is happening. we usually chill there then either go party or sav. sometimes.
then saturday night in sav at spivas i think thats the name.

The "Track" in Ladys island used to be a track, so thats what we called it.

Truboost was never tru? WTF does that mean? Did you ever go there?

and no TRUboost was never true, you can ask anyone in town about how shitty his work is and how much he;s lied to his customers, and YES i have gone there and my car sat there for nearly 6 months just for some intercooler pipping. and we got it back and he did nothin as told, and absultely everything was still loose. and is that why derek skipped town cuz people were getting really tired of his ****. he took his stuff and left all the customers cars, and parts sitting outside the shop. and ask derek urself sense ur such good friends mister know it all.

and guess wut this f'in kid nows more about **** in town than ur old ***. get a life abouit trying to critisie poeple. i do better work than truboost and yes you can ask anyone in town about my work and yea i am just a kid but this kid has just made ur old saggy *** look like an *** you ***. so talk your ****, but maybe you should catch up on life in this lil town.

Anyways, I never saw you guys are Sonics. I drove by there a few times on the weekends and nothing. I would always end up heading to Savannah or chillin at HHI. HHI has a small group of guys that hang out too. Never knew about a track at lady's island. I stuck to autocrossing in Savannah.

 

we started right after you left. I always wanted to go out to hhi just never like drivin out there by myself. We usually head out to sav. i wanted to start autoxing in sav but i heard they already stopped doin that you kno if thats true?

 

Would be nice if there was 1 official, consistant meet up area..

Me and some buddies use to hang out at Sonics a couple of years ago...Not many cars, but it was better than nothing I guess..

I wish there was a nice 1/4 mile track within a decent distance..

Figures everything starts when I leave, but ill be back very soon. The problem with Savannah are the cops, thats why the location changes all the time. Last time I was there they got written permission from some legal firm accross from the hospital in savannah, and that was the meet up point.

suppose to be like i think 15-20 cars rollin with us. yup thats all of beaufort. lol and some from bluffton/hh.

weve only been doin the sonics thing for like 2-3 months. nothin else to do.

 

I'm planning to come back soon, and havn't decided on dates yet. As for Nopi... im not a fan. Only thing I have seen happen there are stolen cars. I guess its fun if you dont drive haha. I need to come back to assemble a little project I'm finishing up. I'd rather keep my R safe

 

yea thats true i really only like the drive there and around atl. nopi isnt all that fun. i like the honda-tech meet last year downtown.

im registering my car, and our hotel is like 20mins away again so hopefully ill be good.
