What's up with my clutch?
Today I started up my freshly built D series (Vitara/Eagle) and the car won't move!
Is it possible that I put the clutch disc on backwards, therefore the clutch won't disengage?
When I push the clutch pedal in when the engine's not running, you can hear it going into each gear, but when the engine is running it won't go into any gear. If I push it hard into any gear, the engine starts to bog and will die. If I put it in any gear and try to start it the car moves forward as it is starting.
I've bled the **** out of it and replace the clutch slave cylinder!
for me!
I can put an entirely new engine in a car and it start on the first try, but I can't get it to pull out of the garage under it's own power!

huh?
It's like it's in gear all the time unless it's in neutral! If I put it in neutral and let off the clutch it's fine, it idles and everything, but if I push the clutch in and put it in reverse, it's like I'm not pushing the clutch pedal in at all and if I push the clutch pedal in and push it into any gear other than reverse the engine bogs, and dies!!

That would mean that the clutch itself is not disengaging. Which means its engaged in some gear, so you would be moving to a certain extent? Is it connected to the flywheel, possibly input shaft, correctly?

The pressure plate is connected to the flywheel correctly b/c there is really only one way to put it on there with the stock bolts. And if the input shaft was not inserted correctly it wouldn't even insert. I'm thinking I put the clutch disc on backwards.

It was about 2 months old when I blew my stock D up!
