Doesn't anyone actually research what they are talking about before they answer. It doesn't help spreading mis-information. Fronts are 6.5" and rears are 5.25"

*Edit* If you don't trust me this is the Crutchfield size guide for this particular car.

haha, wasn't knocking you, just surprised that this thread was here for four hours before someone decided to go to a car audio site. that's a no brainer.

Front's are 5.25, but you can fit 6.5's in there. Rears are 6.5.

This isn't arguable because I've replaced all my speakers.

well idk what kinda civics u guys are drivin but a lot of hondas including my 95 coupe are 6 1/2" all the way around just like the stock ones i took out. its not uncommon for a site like cruthfeild to be wrong here and there. but i have 6 1/2"s in my car. they'll fit.

That's what I thought, but Crutchfield had it the other way. I have a '97, so mine are different, but if you are 100% sure and did all of the installation work yourself then....

Actually I just checked another site found here and it also states that the rears are 5.25" and the fronts are 6.5"

Just because they fit doesn't mean that's what came stock in the car.

I may have them backwards, but it doesn't matter, 6.5"s all around and you don't have to worry.

Actually it does matter to some people. Not trying to be a dick, but this is what I was talking about before. If you don't know, either don't answer or let us know that you are not 100% sure. If the OP wants to just replace the rears with OEM or another speaker of the same size, getting a 6.5" for the rear isn't going to help.

And no they're not. I just checked yours too and they are 5.25" in the rear and 6.5" in front.

I think you're missing something though... If 6.5's fit, regardless, he should just get them. Better get 6.5's that are a guarantee'd bolt on than get 5.25"s that could be too small. Price differences are negligible. He won't notice a difference in sound unless he's an audiophile, which I'm pretty sure he's not, and nobody's going to complain otherwise.

Well, actually, I would trust Crutchfield, which has been around longer than you. Oh, and 2 other websites on top of that. Try Best buy and http://www.mobiletoys.com. As I stated before, just because you took them out of the car doesn't make them factory. Let me guess, you are the first owner of your '95 Civic? Oh wait, you weren't old enought to drive then, so no

Before you try and replace more speakers, I would learn to read first.

(1)How do you know ALL of the speakers in your car are original? Did you buy it brand new? No. I answered this before you could since I already stated you weren't even old enough to drive in '95.

(2)Not only does Crutchfield say you are wrong, but so does http://www.bestbuy.com as well as http://www.mobiletoys.com. All of this I already stated as well. Good try though at attempting flaming me.

(3)You are wrong. There is no "FYI." I know I am right and you are wrong, I am not trying to "rip on someone I don't know" nor do I care. And congrats on owning your 3rd Honda. I bet everyone you know thinks you are the ****. vtack for th3 motherfucking win y0!!!1one!
