Default 95 GSR is a ported head and cams worth it ?

i am buying a GSR tomorrow and it needs a head and i am contemplating on just getting a ported proflow head and cams

I want the car to be fun to drive and have a little performance

will i see a significant difference ? and what kind of power gain will i see

If your upgrading your cams the injectors may run lean on the top end of the rpm range. To fix this would be new injectors and a modified ecu to run the bigger injectors. Also if your getting cams and going to tune the car, you may be interested in some adjustable cam gears to dial in the cams for a few more horse power.

1 thing leads to another.

right now im using my gsr head with a skunk2 IM with itr springs and retainers but i have a b16 head already ported with spring and retainers, itr cams and aebs IM sitting on the side. would i feel/get more performance with the b16 head or should i just put in the cams in the gsr head?

b16 head will lower your compression ratio and lower your final horsepower.

I will lower your compression yes, but total power depends on flow, compression, cams, and so on. I use a B16 head with no issues at all on total power output.
