Default Another one bites the dust

My friend was driving home one rainy night on Roosevelt Blvd when this Nissan Maixma hit my friend in the rear quater panel and caused his car to spin out and crash into a light post on the BLVD. The sad part is the maxima took off and we had no way to fellow him. My friend and the passanger were not hurt, the new Si's are really safe cars.

If you are going to correct one word you may as well finish correcting the rest of the post!<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by IT GUY &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">glad everyone is OK

Naw its was the real story, on the left quater panel you could see the impact where the car hit him and also the paint from the other car. There were 3 witness that saw the other car hit him. He loved his car to much to treat bad in any type of way.

Some pics of the car when he first got it

So if you know the make and color of the car.. aren't you pretty much golden? He's gonna have to bring it in to get it fixed, and even if he didn't, it should be pretty easy if you let the police know to find out who it was. How many of that color maxima's with damage are gonna be driving around?

Sorry about the car but I have a question. Did you guys put the headers on yourself or did you pay someone to do it

thats exactly what i was going to say, having the paint finish and limited maximas around town with same color? pretty obvious to find a damged maxima. to the op did the fg2 owener get paid what he owe or what the car is worth? when they total the car they pay everything because a total repair is more then the car worth cost

2 things to keep in mind. if it was a hit and run chances are they arent covered and wouldnt really afford to fixx the car should it only be cosmetic. a dented fender wont hold up in court as its nothing but a dented fender (or whatever part)

on the other hand, it would be very difficult to monitor all the repair shops and the police would really rather not use the man power to find one hit and miss.

just some realistic food for thought =D

The insurance company paid off the car, they gave him 19,500 for the car and he owed 16,000 on the car so the gave him the remaining balance.

And about the headers we installed it ourselfs took about an hour, we used
one jack and two jack stands.
