Just get a 1.6 SOHC and swap the whole thing.
the 1.6 sohc vtec is only $600 bucks from the salvage yard.
Its the best bang for the buck considering a its a guaranteed 20+HP increase from the D15.
Intake, catback exhaust, headers will not gain 20+ HP from a D15 and these mods will cost more than $600.
Just a thought.......

before you get too carried away with what you are trying to do, which motor are you working with? the d15 and the ew4 are two different motors and are not interchangable. the d15 is from an 88 up civic/crx and the ew4 is from 87 and previous civics. if you are truly changing parts from a 1.6 to a 1.5 d15 motor then the parts are pretty interchangable with some parts not changable. if you are trying to put any d series parts on an 1.5 ew4 motor, that won't work.
86 crx si, so i guess ew4. keep getting conflicting info on both for which is which.
if parts not changeable, is there any other that is true bolt in????
and would really like something that bolts to my trans, 5 speed.
