Testing market/FS: '91 Crx Si
Going through some ideas and checking out my options. Sell the car as a whole, part it out or keep it and finish it someday down the road, so I'm testing the market out.
I've owned the car since May of '05. It has not seen a winter since I have owned it and was told it was a MD car, and it shows. Underbody is very nice and the only rust is on the passenger side rear 1/4 panel. I have filled it with expansion foam for the time being to inhibit the rust, with plans of cutting it out and replacing the sheet metal. II also have a few extra misc parts laying around to that can go with the car such as another OEM hood, sideskirts, etc.
As of now, I am not parting it out.
1991 Crx Si
VIN: JHMED9xxxxxxxxxxx (rest of VIN avail upon request)
Clean NYS Title
New inspection
190,xxx miles on chassis
4 wheel disc brakes
Price: *Considering reasonable, realistic offers*, looking to see what the market is for this. Really feeling out my options.
Drivetrain:
-DOHC ZC, 1.6l non vtec mated to the stock Si transmission
-Stainless header and downpipe
-New timing belt
-New thermostat
Exterior:
-"OEM" rear lip (modified 86-89 Itnegra front lip)
-OEM splash gaurds (bought new this year)
-Amber bumper and corner lights
-OEM sidemarkers
-OEM front lip
-custom painted red tail lights and black center garnish
-CrxCommunity stickers
Interior: Interior is dirty, but is in very nice shape. Seats, rear interior, climate control and dash is VERY nice.
-GSR shift ****
-Momo steering wheel
-Minty OEM seats :D
-96-00 Civic armrest
-92-95 Civic coupe OEM floormats
Sounds:
-Pioneer 5.25 mids in front
-Rockford Fosgate 6.5 two ways in the rear
*OEM Honda Cd player Not included.
Suspension & wheels:
-stock springs and shocks
-Neuspeed solid upper front strut bar
-Explicit Speed solid rear upper strut bar
-Explicit Speed lower rear tie bar (not installed)
-90-91 Prelude SI swirlies up front, stock steelies for the rear.
very good tires with 80-85% of tread left.
The Good: Car is very solid underneath, inside and out. Brakes were done last year on all 4 corners. This is not a perfect car, but it is not a rust bucket on wheels either. Sunroof works great.
The Bad:
Motor is using coolant, bad headgasket or worst case scenario, cracked head. Car does run and drive. Transmission has a grind in 2nd when under hard shifting, under normal driving it is fine.
Muffler needs to be replaced and I do have a good, complete, cat back, stock exhaust to go with the car.

Sorry, motor will be sold with the stripped shell, when it gets to that point.
