Function 7 Rear LCA Install.
I have them in, but have a couple of questions still... first off they were a pain in the *** to wedge in their rightful places. Nothing a jack and a screw driver couldn't deal with to help align everything so the bolts would go through, I just hope it won't cause any binding issues. (LMK your experiences with it if any) Anyway, you'll see in the pictures below, on the stock Rear LCAs there are bracket mounts for the ??ABS?? lines, and I'm just wondering what I should do with them and how I should route them. (You can see them just hanging there for the time being) I have a couple of ideas but would like input on how to do it correctly.

Cory, if you go back through my thread it shows the install of the PIC LCA's. I too used zip ties but make sure you do them loosely. To much sussy travel and to tight of zips and it could cause wear in the lines or worse, some breakage.
Looks great.
These aftermarket companies should drill a hole to mount the ABS line on their LCAs, like stock. I mean, we are paying quite a bit of money, it's only right that they should do it.

Ok, thanks guys, I don't know about the rest of us but I wouldn't want those ugly *** ABS line in the stock mounting position anyway. So I guess just re-routing the lines and zipping it the the back side of the LCA huh?
I did see the little metal tabs holding the line in the bracket, thanks g1itch

I would get some rubber coated "P" clamps to put on the lines and then zip tie the clamp to the LCA. If you tie directly to the line, like Dave said, you could get some rubbing and chafing, and nobody likes chafing.
