trany falling out of gear?

Default trany falling out of gear?

My 5th gear will randomly slip out of 5th gear after im cruising in it for a few min, or a few seconds, its different every time....its a stock b16 trany with 100K on it, but it only started donig this RIGHT after i put the built b20/vtec in....any ideas guys

5th gear sleeve and outer shaft bearing are dieing, common issue with B16 trannys, Honda even has a TSB about it.......

same thing happened to my buddies LS tranny...was just low on tranny fluid...fill it up more...check that out first

It's probably cheaper to pull the trans and tear it apart and replace the parts than it is to buy a new one. .

Like Mista Bone said. Replace the shaft bearings. It's cheap and relatively easy to do.
