H22 installation cost
i doubt youll find any shop to do an engine swap for $300.
If you don't have a friend in the business and take it to any old corner garage, i would expect them to charge you about 10 hours labor @ $60/hr = $600. Even if they do get the swap done in 4 hours, they wont tell you that.

Yes... unless you know exactly which car the engine came out of, you have no idea how many miles the engine has. Therefore, you might as well take care of the general stuff like timing belt and water pump while the engine is out in the open.
You don't want to just swap in your engine, take it for a spin, rev it to 7k and have the timing belt snap...
