d motor interchangablity

Default d motor interchangablity

do "d" motor parts, d16 interchange at all with d15 parts?
intake, xaust, fuel rail, injectors, cam gears, anything..........
very hard to find d15/ew4 parts.

was wanting bigger fuel rail with bigger injectors, any recomends?
want diff in cams, would it be worth the effort? more lift, durration?
and how bout air intake, look the same size as a b16, b18, b anything?

well if you are looking for parts to interchange i have 2 complete d16a6's from 91 crx's. I am a little west of tampa.

you can get a more aggressive cam from a automatic engine. the only differences are the crank and rods, the cam pulley I think.

I am not too familiar with the 1st gen crx's, but on second gen's allmost all d series parts are interchangable. The big thing now is a mini-me. Putting a z6/y8 sohc vtec head onto another d series block. I have seen this done on hf's/dx/cx's just about every d series motor out there. Hell I stuck a 98 d series engine into my 91 crx with the 91 tranny.

As for the people interested in the motors, i emailed you with the info.
