funny picture from 4th of july
So my dad pulled out mom's nighthawk 250 because he wanted to have the front tire changed, but since it was nearly 90 degrees out i thought it'd be funny to take it for a ride through the harbor in full leathers. Needless to say i looked a bit odd.
the engine braking was better than the frickin hub brakes.
Mostly i wanted to ride it to experience what some 250s are like so when i run around advocating them i know what i'm selling. And after riding it, my position still stands. I could lurch the thing around at almost 2 mphs. It was like riding a bicycle at slow speeds, much more manageable than a sport bike or large cruiser, and very maneuverable at high speeds and definitely forgiving with the throttle, while not feeling nearly as slow as my ford ranger.

It's kind of a frankenbike, CB750 C with a CB750 K front end. The front wheel on all of the cb750's were larger than the rear (I believe). But this particular bike was put in its current form by a guy (the previous owner) who actually preferred contrasting wheels. I just wish he kept the C front end because the dual brakes up front would have helped a lot.
