Default Wandering with JDM 16's, but not with 15's, same tires

why is my R wandering with JDM 16 inch wheels with FAlken Azinis sport 215/45 R16's, but it's perfect with the oem 15 inch wheels with Falken Azinis sports in 205/50 R15's

Tires on the 15's are old, bald and have uneven wear from being on my turbo'd 87 Teg...I had these mounted on the OEM ITR 15's

Tires on the 16's have only a few thousand miles, perfect wear and plenty of tread.

I feel much more confident on the 15's as i can tell when they are at their limit, but the 16's it will just all the sudden loose grip mid turn. Weels are perfectly ballanced as well.

Just got to get use to wider tracks with wandering and stiffer side walls so it is less forgiving.

Might not have enough PSI in one or more of the tires.

i did the same swap, same tires, jsut 16inch K1s. i had the same problem. Went for an aligment and all better. even though the aligment was good with the 15s, after going to the 16s it needed done.

Rotate front to back, maybe you've just got a bad/defective tire?

its just the way the tires fit on each wheel and how the sidewall is effected. my car drives different with the same 205/50/15 tires on 2 different wheels 6 and 6.5" wide.

^ 2x... You just have less side wall, and the road is probabl slightly slanted thus wandering.

If it's really bad, it could be under inflated tire on one side, or slightly out of wack alignment

I think there is something up with this Model Tire.. I have them on my 15's with 1500miles on them, they cut loose all the timeit seems! I miss my old Azenis's

Rotate your tires front to back and see if problem goes away.

Check tire pressure.

Is your car aligned? Some tires will react differently as opposed to others.

You just might have radial pull due to the tires. Since they are directional
