Default Going down down bay bay

So yeah I went down about 4 weeks ago. Didn't really post anything about it back then. I know someone in here knows about it because he knew something was up and kept asking me about it and told me to just lay it out flat... so here it is. I'm hitting up the twisties up in the mtns. Im heading back after stopping at a store up there. About to hit the first twistie(not going fast or wreckless) when I'm like WTF, the throttle for some reason keeps feeding gas to the motor and I keep going faster the turn is coming and I go off the road. As I'm going down I'm like, I can't believe this is happening to me. I go down on my shoulder and slide. I end up off the road(since is just one lane going and coming), the end of the bike is under my leg. The people that I was riding with come over and get the bike off. So yeah I'm glad I'm ok... the pics are really graphic. I'm walking and everything now. I'm riding as well, and fixing up my bike... I also bought a street fighter which I posted a few posts down...

Heading out

Stopping at deckers and after that we were on our way back

Nice guy... helped me alot

Getting the bike back up

My booty got scraped

The leg

Forget about the leg... did u see the damm hole?

Zip ties helped alot

About to get back on the bike... that's suppose to be the shocker on the left hand

Guess jeans FTL

I doubt that the bike kept feeding power. New rider, anticipation, target lock. It's happened to all of us.

that sucks man
at least your where able to walk away

After i watched my friend almost do the same thing as you tonight, it;s pretty clear why starting out on a Super Sport is a bad idea.
He was going a little to fast into a right hand turn, took a bad line, freaked out, and decided to stick his foot out while leaned over
How he didn;t go down i dunno

Good choice, how's your knee? One thing to consider is textile overpants, with those over my jeans I feel safe and its nice not have to jam wallet, keys, etc into my jacket.

Was thinking the same thing. Or maybe it was the front tire?

Judging from the pictures your front tires look flat spotted and done for.
Once your front goes, you lose control, that might have contributed to your accident

wow noob.. you should have wore some knee protector and some shoes. . I always wear my full gear or at least a knee protector with boots. I think your throttle was stuck.. change your grip and see how it is.. glad that you are fine though, bikes can be repaired anytime

We had a guy local go down (low speed) with knee pads and jeans, not a scratch on him.

Next time, at the very least, riding boots/knee pads. Surprised those skater shoes held up!

I always wonder why people buy nice new sport bikes, but spend such little money on gear....at least go to Nordstrom Rack and buy some Timberland leather boots for 30 bucks

Did you get medical attention for that knee?

It looks like it should be stitched up.

Jesus Christ, I just noticed that...might as well be slicks. Looks like he has other things to buy instead of a tire now

...and this has already been said but...
