looks neat.but it appears it wont pass tech.

It has two inch lips and they are curved inward. The front part is two inches and you really can't tell from the pic, but the front edge has a lip turned inward " so as to contain oil in the pan"

All of the lips are 2" and at the downpipe it is 1". I thought about adding an internal 1" lip where the downpipe is just so
i could say it was 2"

That will pass with no problems. They just want to see something under the motor/tranny.

Here are some pics of my catch pan after remounting it. Now it is mounted to the engine instead of the chassis and it has 3.75" clearance at race level with 6 psi in the tires. The rear is now mounted to a flange on the downpipe to seal it.

I have seen someone do that but it does not say so in the rulebook. It says you can have a two piece diaper. It sas nothing about a two piece pan.

I like the pan. But the front lip doesn't exactly meet the rules. Has to be straight up. So the car blows you get on the brakes and the oil rolls easily out the front.

You may not be able to see it in the pic, but it is coved inward on the top of the front. I think it is gonna be fine, if not I can simply add an internal lip in the front. I am gonna e-mail their tech department some pics to see if it will pass.

Right now it goes out above the traction bars on the drivers side. You can see it in the third from last pic. I am going to extend it with a turn down soon.
