Friend has a bad TPS on his 98 HX CIvic. The only place to get a TPS around here is Honda and they give you a whole new TB. I have a B16 Throttle Body laying around and I was wondering if that TB will fit his 98 HX SOHC Vtec motor D16Y5 i think it is... let me know... thanks

 

my bad. miss read post. for some reason i was thinking it was the IM. Yeah the TB will fit.

but if i take off the TPS and put it on the d-series TB it will work correct?

I believe the TB will fit, but you're just not going to be seeing any results of power or anything.

 

Yes it WILL FIT. I put a GSR TB on my Y8 manifold.
