Yesterday I was trying to clean my EGR valve and replace the distributor, I couldn’t open EGR valve coz nut was too rusty, Then I opened my distributor but when I checked the distributor I bought have different wiring harness than I have in my car.
I bought TD77U but in my car I have TD60U, so I bolt back all the thing but now I have higher idle RPM (about 1200) tried to setup distributor but its can go up but not less than 1200 RPM, and my Vtec is not kicking any more.
Can some one help me what is wrong with it, how I can fix this problem, and why I do have TD60U distributor in 2001 prelude??

Can you put your old one back on? (coil)

 

Check your oil.. Maybe you dont have enough left and that's why the VTEC inst working...
